  • Cure for tired looking eyes
Ever have one of those days when you wake up tired? It’s good to aim for 7-8 hours of sleep every night but that’s not always an option. For times like those, white or peach colored eyeliner can take that tired look right out of your eyes. Rim the bottom lid with a white or peach liner and coat lashes with navy blue mascara.  This will help the whites of your eyes appear whiter. Try Tarte EmphasEYES Inner Rim Brightener and Blinc mascara in dark blue. This is my favorite mascara since it comes off with warm water and doesn’t give you raccoon eyes.

    Tame flyways

There are a couple of ways to tame those annoying flyways. The easiest and most pocket friendly way is to use your hairspray. Everyone has a bottle in their house so you don’t have to spend any extra money. Spray it on the palm of your hands, quickly rub them together and place them on your head to eliminate flyways. If you’re on the go and don’t mind spending the extra  bucks, JOHN FRIEDA Full Repair Touch-Up flyway tamer is a great alternative.

    Fast tan for gorgeous legs

If you haven’t had time to go to the beach and get your tan on and you’re against tanning booths (which you have every right to be since they could cause skin cancer), your next best bet is a spray tan.  What if you don’t have time for a full-body tan? No need to panic, take a cue from Hollywood make up artists who spray stars’ legs with Sally Hansen Airbrush legs. It’s $10 -$15 dollars at the drugstore and comes in light, med, tan and deep shades. Exfoliate your legs to make them smooth, then spray it on and gently rub it with your hands and you will be red carpet ready to go!

    Go from Dull to glossy
If your hair color has gone from shinny to dull and lifeless and you’re not up for another trip to the hair salon use this home remedy to bring your hair back to life. The day before your big event, mix 1 cup of cold water with 1 cup of distilled vinegar and a few drops of an essential oil.  I prefer lavender because it smells great.  Rinse your hair with the solution.  Vinegar is acidic and will close the hair cuticle, creating glossy and shinny hair.

Soften your dry and flaky heels
If you are suffering from dry heels and want to do something about it you’ve come to the right place. I’ve found the best solution and it works in just a couple of days. Start by exfoliating your feet with a pumas stone to get the dead skin off before bed time, then rub a generous amount of  Burt’s Bees Coconut foot cream  on the heel of your foot or all over if you’d like, wear some clean socks and go to bed. You’ll see a big difference the next day and if you keep it up for another couple of nights you’ll have soft and fabulous feet in no time!
